About the Conference

On 12 – 13 April, DMTC will hold its Annual Conference for 2023. A staple event in the Defence calendar, DMTC’s Annual Conference aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the cutting-edge science and technology innovations pursued across DMTC’s portfolio of R&D projects. The Conference also seeks to establish strategic bearings that navigate a path of continued support for Australia’s sovereign industrial capability and provide necessary context to the critical work undertaken across DMTC’s community of academic and industry partners, and by DMTC-affiliated early career researchers and students. In 2023, DMTC’s Annual Conference will offer keynote presentations by prominent Defence and industry guest speakers, in addition to technical presentations from DMTC program and project leaders across health security, maritime, industry capability development and geospatial activity themes, to name a few. DMTC’s Gala Dinner and Awards for Excellence ceremony will be held on the evening of 12 April at the National Gallery of Australia. This dinner presents attendees with the opportunity to hear from a distinguished guest speaker and celebrate individuals, project teams, and industry and academic partners that have made outstanding contributions to DMTC’s vision and mission throughout the year.
